The design brief requirement for this project was to design an app for primary use on the iPhone 7 with the UX/UI design aligning with best practices. The concept of Invertigo was initially created and designed by myself, with further development & refinement to the app being executed in association with a design partner.

Invertigo is a social media app concept designed to create a safe platform for all those associated with the sport to share, explore, and connect.

Pole Dancing is a competitive sport that is quickly growing in popularity. It attracts all genders as a strength-building dance and acrobatics sport. Many pole dancers, like majority of the world’s population today, post updates to social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook. This is what sparked the inspiration for Invertigo.

Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and Twitter are all social media platforms open for the general public to sign up to. A social media platform aimed at a more niche market (e.g. pole dancers) is something that could prove successful.
